Keynote speaker. Neurodiversity consultant and mentor, Matt Gupwell is a rare breed. Since 2008 when his oldest son was diagnosed with autism age 4, swiftly followed by his younger brother in 2010, Matt has been obsessed with understanding what being "Different" meant. Diagnosed with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, anxiety disorders and in recovery from addiction all after the age of 46. Matt has the unique ability to blend clinical understanding and research with the experience of working with countless neurodivergent people of all ages, raising to neurodivergent sons and the reflections on his life before diagnosis to make a seemingly difficult concept easier to understand. ​ What sets Matt apart from most speakers is that he doesn’t want to tell you how hard life has been by telling you what the “neurotypical” world didn’t do for him or anyone else.
